Welcome to "Sierra Pastels"!

I hope you enjoy viewing my landscape artwork, whether you’re thinking of purchasing a piece, or just browsing. As you can readily tell, my favorite subject is California’s magnificent Sierra Nevada, with a special focus on the jaw-dropping scenery along the John Muir Trail, the Eastern Sierra, and the spectacular landscapes of Owens Valley.

Now and then I venture farther afield, to the redrock wilderness of the Colorado Plateau, New Mexico, the Rocky Mountains, and the California coast. I specialize in soft pastels, with an occasional foray into acrylic painting.
